Tania Opland and Mike Freeman
Date: Tuesday 5 June 2007

Tania Opland and Mike Freeman have been touring the world since 1994 with an unique and eclectic mix of songs in several languages and acoustic music played on a bewildering variety of instruments. These include hammered dulcimer, guitar, recorders, cittren, violin, Native American flute and percussion. Their show features traditional and contemporary material form many cultures aswell as original compositions. The wit and style of the presentation is guaranteed to provide and evening of great music and entertainment for everyone, especially those seeking something just a little off to the beat in track.
The irreverent sense of humour of Mike Freeman together with the stunning vocals of Tania Opland provide the springboard for a rollercoaster ride across several concerts over several continents and back again.
The most recent visit of Tania and Mike to Montrose Folk Club in 2003 was an outstanding success when Tania and Mike captivated the audience at the Club with their passion entyusiam and virtuosty.
