Tanglefoot have proved an outstanding success on their two previous appearances at Montrose Folk Club. The band had been scheduled to appear at the Club on Tuesday 10th April. However, the gig has been re-scheduled as a consequence of the band having received an invitation from the Canadian Government to perform at a special ceremony to mark the 90th Anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge. The many Canadian Servicemen who died at Vimy Ridge are commemorated in a sublime Tanglefoot song entitled “Vimy”.

Tanglefoot are a five strong band consisting of four tall Canadian males with big hair and one Canadian female in Sandra Swannell on fiddle.
