For more than 20 years The Old Blind Dogs have been at the forefront of Scottish Music. They have on several occasions won the Best Band Award at the Scottish Trad Music Awards.

The Old Blind Dogs are now Fraser Stone on percussion, Aaron Jones on bouzouki and guitars, Rory Campbell on pipes and the only remaining founder member, Jonny Hardie, on fiddle.

Although the line up of The Old Blind Dogs has changed over the years, the sound remains very recognisable. They continue their habit of treating the tradition with respect, but not too much.

New vocalist, Aaron Jones, brings his own sound to The Old Blind Dogs. It is now more reminiscent of the intense, occasionally almost snarly, Ian Benzie sound of the original line up, than of the creamy mellifluous tones of Jim Malcolm.

The electric live performances of the Band continue to be legendary.
