Blues Night with Fraser Speirs and Allan Jones

The current Season at Montrose Folk Club concludes with a Blues night featuring Harmonica Legend, Fraser Speirs, accompanied by Allan Jones on Guitar and Vocals. They will be presenting an evening of classic acoustic Blues music.
In a career spanning over thirty years, the name of Fraser Speirs has become synonymous with Harmonica playing of the highest quality. Paul Jones of BBC Radio 2 described him as "a great Harp player with a gorgeous tone".
Over the years, Fraser Speirs has played with performers as diverse as Alexis Korner, Muddy Waters and Homesick James, through to contemporary artists such as Rab Noakes, Eddi Reader and Carol Kidd.
Over the past couple of years, Fraser Speirs has been touring the world as part of the album-topping band backing Paolo Nutini.
