Tim Richards is one of the UK's foremost jazz pianists, whose trio performances have delighted audiences from Inverness to Istanbul.
He is also well-known for his leadership of the bands Spirit Level and Great Spirit since the 1980s. His solo piano concert will feature a wide range of material, from jazz standards by Duke Ellington and Thelonious Monk to blues, boogie and gospel.
He will also play some new original compositions for piano and selected tunes from his acclaimed Schott publications 'Improvising Blues Piano' and 'Exploring Jazz Piano'.
