Kenny Speirs & Judy Dinning

Kenny Speirs and Judy Dinning are the front line of Real Time, the band who have proved very popular at Montrose Folk Club on previous appearances.
On this occasion, Kenny Speirs and Judy Dinning are touring as a duo. Both are outstanding singers, with Kenny playing guitar whilst Judy is an accomplished guitarist, keyboard and bodhran player.
Kenny Speirs, for many years the driving force in the original John Wright Band, is a fine singer of Scottish and contemporary songs. He has released two critically acclaimed solo albums.
Judy Dinning from Northumberland is one of the top female vocalists in the UK. As a former member of Jez Lowe and the Bad Pennies, she toured extensively throughout Europe, North America and Australia.
Kenny and Judy will be performing a blend of traditional Scottish and English folk songs, contemporary material and original compositions from Judy Dinning.
